Basically, to expand the practice of Rabindranath’s play, Rabindranath expressed “Past working on silently in the earth” but we want to say, Prangonemor, “You working on silently in the earth”. Prangonemor not only will practice Rabindranath’s plays but also will practice standard plays from abroad including Bangladesh but mainly will insist on practice and expanse plays of Robindronath.If prangonemor produce only one production in a year, it must be from Rabindranath but for the second production could be others.This Organization trust on the expanse of intelligence and endowed with a good memory than the practice of Democracy. We salute those Bengali peoples from both countries who already sacrificed and are sacrificing their valuable long time from 1975 to until today, with their experience, knowledge and hard labor for Bengali theatre thus Prangonemor started their journey. Each and every work of Prangonemor will memorize them respectfully from the core of heart.
In Bangladesh, Prangonemor Theatre was born on 6th May 2003 with a target to practice and spread of Rabindranath’s drama by untiring regularity. The presentation of Rabindranath’s drama is standard and artistically presented in Bangladesh and India from the taking birth of it. Prangonemor is only drama group in the world who announced only to practice and spread of Rabindranath’s drama regularly. In this way, already Prangonemor artistically completed five successful Tagore’s productions. Those productions are extensively congratulated and praised in Bangladesh and India. Prangonemor performed every drama in the city of Bangladesh and most of the district town and audience comprehensively accepted the performance. Not only in Bangladesh, but also in India, many times Prangonemor were invited By Rabindra Nattyo Festival in Mumbai(Old Mumbai, New Mumbai), Purba-Poshchim Festival(Kolkata), Nandipat’s Women’s Directors Festival(Kolkata), Kalyani Nattyo Chorcha Kendra’s Festival, Shantiniketan, .Ritwik theater group (Bohorampur) namely, “Desh-Bidesher Drama Festival”, Ritwik Festival(Shiliguri) and every performance were zealously received by the audience.
